Infection Control With Bed Making

1. Keep all bed linens off the floor
2. Place used linens in laundry containers immediately after removing from the bed
3. Wash and dry soiled linens as soon as possible
4. Roll linens away from your clothing
5. Do not shake linens ( clean or dirty )
6. Hold and fold linens away from your clothing
7. Wash hands before and after changing linens
8. Use gloves when handling linens soiled with body fluids
